One last hoorah for Angelia's birthday! (9/4/2011)

As most of you know, the kids' birthdays are never celebrated and over in 1 day... it's usually celebrated in it's entirety over a few days. Well, Angelia's birthday was no different and today we celebrated with family & close friends for 1 last time. :) We had a pool party at Memom's and had a great time! We had great weather & lots of fun.

As the day drew to an end, the kids couldn't wait to get Memom's fire pit ignited to roast marshmallows. *yum*

Angelia- here's to your 7th birthday! I hope you have had a lot of fun celebrating it this year. I love you SO much and have 7 years old is a ton of fun for you, Baby Girl. :) xo

Hot fun in the Summertime! (July 2011)

This is where we spend many of our Summer days... at Memom's pool! The kids play & swim while I "lifeguard" from my pool chair... lol! :) I have so many memories of my sisters & I as kids doing the exact same thing with our Mom. Fun times, great memories for me and my kids!

They are all doing well this year with swimming! They now all go off of the diving board & sliding board and can swim independently... so proud of them!

Let Summer begin! (6/17/2011)

Yesterday was the last day of school and we will now spend many of our summer days right here...

... in Memom's pool! :) **Happy Summer everyone!**

Swimming at Memom's (Summer 2010)

The kids would spend everyday here if they could... everyday in Memom's pool! The kids are LOVING the pool this year! They have all come such a long way so fast this Summer thus far with their swimming confidence & skills.

The basic skills Angelia learned at swimming lessons last year have blossomed into improved skills... she's doing awesome-- swimming & jumping in on her own with no assistance.

Anthony started off the summer being afraid of going in the pool and wearing a life vest & gripping onto me for dear life and is now simply wearing "swimmies" & swimming & jumping in freely. As I have seen all along with him, he will go at his own pace & will do it when HE is ready!

As for Juliana & Micaela, they both started off the season with "swimmies" and are now jumping & swimming on their own with nothing on!

Here are the kids having their 1st race! OMG-- seems like just yesterday I was that little having races in the pool with my sisters and friends!

We've made definite strides with swimming this Summer! I am SO proud of them and they are so proud of themselves! :) Lots of great memories at the pool...

Hangin' at the pools (Arizona ... 4/2009)

It was still too cold in Jersey, but already hot enough in Arizona to go swimming-- hence the 90+ degree days in AZ in April! Despite the pool water still being a bit chilly, it didn't stop them... the kids had a ball splashing around and playing in the pool at both Aunt Toni's house and at Nanny & Pop's! They both have beautiful pools!

Hanging out at Aunt Toni & Uncle Tom's pool!

Of the 4 kids, Juliana really "jumped right in" when it came to going into the pool ... she is so fearless sometimes; it amazes me and scares me all at the same time!

I think she is going to be like her Aunt Kelly ... a "fish" in the water at the age of 3! I am hoping she learns how to swim this summer! :)

Memom's pool (8/1/08)

The last few times we have ventured over to Memom's pool, my kids became very daring in the pool-- Angelia and Anthony, especially! This has been a very quick change-- they went from petrified to daring! They seem okay at this point, but at this unpredictable age, things could change from day to day!

Splish! Splash! (mid-June '08)

With the hot summer days upon us, the kids been spending many of their days out back playing in their pool, having picnic lunches, and having a BALL! They giggle and laugh as they jump, slide, and splash... it's too cute! They go nuts when I squirt them with the water from the hose! As expected, Juliana gets tired of her "wet" bathing suit and swim diaper fast, so she's usually naked most of the time outside.... yes-- she's my "el natural child"... she'd be naked 24/7 if you'd let her! Where does she get that from??? :)
When the kids are out, our dear next door neighbor, Doris, usually peeks over the gate to say HI. They love Doris and all go running to the gate yelling "Doris! Doris!" and give her kisses through the gate-- too cute! She loves it.
More summer fun to come, I'm sure! Stay tuned...
