San Tan Flats (Arizona ... 4/2009)

The whole family ventured to SAN TAN FLATS for dinner and had a great time! It was definitely a time for good food, great family, & much fun! It's quite a unique place... you can eat outside in a large open area, they have an outdoor stage, they have many fire pits all over where you can roast marshmallows, has a "western-flair", etc. The kids got to roast marshmallows for the 1st time and loved riding on the saddles & dancing on the stage. It was a great time... we all really enjoyed ourselves! :)

We're On FIRE! (Arizona ... 4/2009)

Anthony LOVES fire trucks and dressing up like a Fireman, so for as long as he's been into "fire-stuff", I have been telling him that when we go to see Aunt Toni, etc. in Arizona, we will go to Uncle Tom's firehouse. "Uncle Tom" is a fireman for the Florence, AZ fire department. So-- he did get the chance to go to Uncle Tom's firehouse during our trip, along with the girls, cousins, etc.! :) Anthony was SO excited... it was his 1st visit to a firehouse and the 1st time he got to check out an actual fire truck, try on the gear, etc.! He loved it... and-- all of the kids had a great time checking everything out!

**Thanks Uncle Tom!**
Stay safe!

Phoenix Zoo (Arizona ... 4/2009)

The kids loved the trip to the Zoo and it was a fun day out with the family!!
The Phoenix Zoo is a really nice zoo... as you will see in the pics. :)

In the "tree house" checking out the Giraffes

Check out Micaela "posing" in the middle of everyone! She's too funny-- and cute (I must say!). She's my "girly girl"! :)

Here she is... my little "monkey" (Juliana)! She's always hanging around... and climbing, swinging, doing something daring!

Aunt Toni's Hair Salon (Arizona ... 4/2009)

As with every visit, Aunt Toni gave the kids a "trim'!
How cool is that?? ... a hair salon in your house! (Aunt) Toni's Hair Salon, that is!

Don't I look especially beautiful with my new "do"!?

Thank you for the hair-cuts, Aunt Toni! We love them and love you lots!

Puppy love! (Arizona... 4/2009)

The kids, especially Juliana, were loving life with 4 dogs -- Gryffin, Bella, Teddy, & Maisy -- around every day while at Aunt Toni's! The kids played with them and were often found at the screen door talking to the dogs... it was cute!

Bella & Maisy (the newest addition) ... Maisy is a Teacup Yorkie-- what a great little dog! Toni said we could have one of the dogs, well-- except Maisy! lol...

Juliana is like her Aunt Toni-- an animal and baby lover! :)

Micaela talkin' to Teddy. "Ted", as I call him, reminds me of an old man ... he's is Pop's buddy. Teddy even went for a few swims with the kids... they loved that!

One day I'll have to get them one... when the kids get a little bigger!

Hangin' at the pools (Arizona ... 4/2009)

It was still too cold in Jersey, but already hot enough in Arizona to go swimming-- hence the 90+ degree days in AZ in April! Despite the pool water still being a bit chilly, it didn't stop them... the kids had a ball splashing around and playing in the pool at both Aunt Toni's house and at Nanny & Pop's! They both have beautiful pools!

Hanging out at Aunt Toni & Uncle Tom's pool!

Of the 4 kids, Juliana really "jumped right in" when it came to going into the pool ... she is so fearless sometimes; it amazes me and scares me all at the same time!

I think she is going to be like her Aunt Kelly ... a "fish" in the water at the age of 3! I am hoping she learns how to swim this summer! :)

One last egg hunt (Arizona ... 4/2009)

The kids lucked out... they got the chance to attend another Easter Egg hunt-- this time in AZ! Along with ToniAnn and the kids, we ventured over to their old neighborhood for their annual neighborhood Easter Egg hunt/party. It was a great time for all... it was great to see how all of the neighbors in the development come together for "family" and "fun". Together, they facilitated the egg hunt for the kids and everyone brought food to share and for all to enjoy!
I wish we had stuff like that in our neighborhoods back in NJ... it was really nice and made for a great time for all!

Unbelievable... EVERY development has at least 1 beautiful park like this, if not more!

Having a SNOW CONE for the 1st time... YUM!
Despite Mommy hating that BLUE stuff (= stains!), the kids thoroughly enjoyed their snow cones! YUM!
