No better way to spend a Fall day! (10/10/2011)

Today, Sharon, Grammy, the kids, & I made our annual trip to Peddler's Village to see the scarecrow contest display! It was a beautiful day and we had a great time walking around there. (I love doing this with my kids-- as I used to do this with Grammy & Pop when my sisters & I were kids!).







After we left Peddler's Village, we headed up to Grammy & Pop's "old house" in Stockton... I have so many awesome memories of that house! The kids thought it was cool and asked tons of questions about it... as Grammy & I shared a few stories of stuff we did there at the house. As Edith & Archie say-- "Those were the days!"
After we left the house, we drove up the street to the Sandy Ridge cemetary, where I took the kids for a walk through the cemetary. I always loved doing this when we went to Grammy & Pop's as kids. As I did many moons ago, we visited Grammy's grandparents' grave, too!


Later that night, we headed to Belmar -- it was such a beautiful night! The kids played, I relaxed with my feet in the sand, and Sharon did a little surf fishing.

What a GREAT way to spend a Fall day! :)

Gaga for Bieber! (7/1/2011)

My girls love Justin Bieber... it cracks me up to see them so "gaga" over someone at their young ages!


Tonight, Sharon & I surprised the kids and took them to Pt. Pleasant to see the "Justin Bieber movie" on the beach! They were SO excited! At one point, they were chanting "Bieber! Bieber!" and dancing all around. lol... too funny!

Avon-by-the-Sea (5/21/2011)

We hung out on the beach in Avon tonight... it was such a beautiful night and gorgeous views everywhere you looked!

The kids played...

we sat with our feet in the sand...

we walked along the beach to collect shells...

and watched the bridge open & close to let the big boats through. At the bridge, we waved to the fisherman coming & going. (I love the pic of them waving to the fishing boat!)


Here's to another beautiful night on the beach! Oh how I'd love to live there... :)

Angelia's 5th Birthday! (8/31/09)

It's OFFICIAL ... my "baby girl" is 5 years old! WOW-- where have the last 5 years gone SO fast?!?
To celebrate her "big day", Angelia, the triplets, Savanna, Courtney, Memom, and I headed to Windward Beach (in Brick) for the day where the kids had a blast playing in the sand & water and of course, on all of the jungle gyms! Later, we came home and had a pizza party and more cake! It was a fun way to celebrate Angelia's 5th Birthday! :)

To my "baby girl" (Angelia)...
I cannot believe you are 5 years old already! Just 5 years ago, I was filled with so much wonder of you (my baby-to-be) and prepared for you to be born. Then, on this very day, I brought you into the World ... one of the best days of my life! And now 5 years later, you are a "big girl", I know everything about you, and I am preparing to send you off to school/Kindergarten! When did you get so big!? Don't grow up too fast, okay?? :) I hope you had a fun 5th Birthday! You are a very special & beautiful little girl and I am so happy, blessed, & proud to be your Mommy! You are loved so very much by so many people, especially ME! **Happy 5th Birthday, Baby Girl!** I love you SO much!

Sand & OCEAN! (7/10/09)

Arizona has sand, but no OCEAN, so... with Stephanie in town (from AZ), to Pt. Pleasant we went and enjoyed the beautiful day on the beach! :) Even though we couldn't go in the ocean (it was too rough that day!), the kids had a ball playing in the sand and Sharon, Stephanie, & I enjoyed hanging out on the beach.
Beachin' it on the "lazy days of summer" at the Jersey shore ... gotta love it -- enjoy them when you can! :)
