Triplets' 1st (school) Field Trip! (10/24/2011)

Today, the Triplets got to go on their 1st "school field trip"... they were SO excited! From the ride on the school bus with their friends to the experience on the farm, they had a great time!


Their 1st field trip was to SNIPES Farm in PA.


On this beautiful Fall day, the kids explored the farm, checked out the farm animals (turkeys, chickens, & bunnies- oh my!), visited the farm museum, went on a hayride, got pumpkins, played at the farm playground, etc.






They had such a good time today, but are anxious for other school trips! Where will they go next?? Such fun! :)

1st day of Kindergarten & 2nd grade! (9/7/2011)

Wow!! IN a blink of an eye, my children have gone from being held in my arms to hugging them good-bye on their 1st day of school!

Today was the day... Angelia's 1st day of 2nd grade & the Triplets' 1st day of Kindergarten! Everyone was SOOO excited to go to school... but a little nervous, which quickly subsided.


Wow-- I can't believe they are ALL old enough to go to school now! It was a bittersweet day for me, as tears of disbelief, joy, & sadness ran down my face -- after I said good-bye to them, of course! A new milestone in their life they are embarking on and major changes for my life as I have knwn it the last 5+ years!



At the end of the day, ALL smiles, LOTS to share, & eager kids ready to go back tomorrow & have a great school year!! :)

Angelia, Anthony, Juliana, & Micaela-- Mommy cannot believe all 4 of you are in school now! I am SO proud of all 4 of you & I hope you have a great school year! Mommy can't wait to see how you all grow and how much you will do & learn this school year! Mommy loves you all SSSSSSSOOOOOO much!!!!

Angelia's last day of Kindergarten (6/18/2010)

Wow... I can't believe I'm saying this ALREADY... today was Angelia's last day of Kindergarten. Wow... it seems like she just started!

Angelia & her classmates had a great last day of Kindergarten. They played, had fun, had goodies, and said their good-byes. The class Room-moms (Jen & I) made a scrapbook filled out memories from throughout the year as a year-end gift for the teacher, Miss Walsh. It was full of pictures, drawings, and hand-written memories from the students. Jen & I had a great time putting it together and emotional as we looked at the completed book, but when Miss Walsh saw it, she cried, we cried (again)... OMG! Miss Walsh loved her scrapbook and the kids were so excited to look over her shoulder to see themselves and their work in there.







The hardest part of the day was saying good-bye... watching/listening to Miss Walsh thank her class and then the good-byes. Jen & I looked on crying... wow! The kids in this class were SO lucky to be blessed with such an awesome Kindergarten teacher! Miss Walsh was excellent in every aspect... the kids loved her, she made it fun, she pushed them to achieve & learn, she cared, she shared, she had a great relationship with the students & the parents ... I can't say enough! I am hoping ALL of my children are lucky enough to have such a great teacher through their school years ahead.

After school, Angelia & I went on a "date" to celebrate her last day. We went to DQ for an ice cream sundae! :)

Angelia... wow-- graduating from Kindergarten already!? Congratulations! It seems like just yesterday we were walking you to school for your 1st day of Kindergarten and here we are saying good-bye to Kindergarten. We are all so very proud of you and the awesome job you did this school year! You have grown and learned so much this year and we couldn't be more proud. Keep up the good work! Love you always & forever, Big Girl! :)

Angelia's Kindergarten Show! (6/15/2010)

In lieu of "Kindergarten graduation", Angelia's school put on "Kindergarten show"! The show was great and they had a great turn-out! Lots of family & friends came out to watch the Kindergarten classes perform... the kids sang together and had their moments in the "spotlight" to dance & sing on stage with a few friends. It was really cute and the kids did a great job!




At the conclusion of the performance, the Kindergarten teachers presented each of their students with a special book that was filled with pictures of the kids & random projects they made throughout the year... what a great memory of Kindergarten to have! After Angelia's show at her school & Savanna's show at her school, we all went to Memom's to celebrate the girl's Kindergarten "graduation"!

Angelia, you did such a great job today... we are all so proud of you! We are so happy that we could be there to see you perform and share your special day in the spotlight. We love you! Love... from all of us :)

SHREK -- The Final Chapter (6/2/2010)

The Kindergarteners, 1st, & 2nd graders took a field trip to the movies to see SHREK -- The Final Chapter! The kids had a great time! What a great way to spend a day as the school year winds down...

Angelia's school parade! (5/28/2010)

This year, Kisthardt's annual school parade became "official"! With all of the teachers, students, faculty, parents, etc. present, the town Mayor deemed this day... "Kisthardt School's official parade day!" With tons of excitement, the entire school family -- led by a local marching band & town Mayor -- paraded around the local streets of the school-- showing off their red-white-blue, their love for sports, and their beach gear, too! Everyone had so much fun! What a beautiful day and what an awesome way to bring the school community together!

The Triplets were so excited to go to the parade! They were dressed in "theme" with the "big kids", of course! :)

Field Day! (4/29/2010)

Angelia took part in her 1st "Field Day" at school! :) It was a great day for all... filled with lots of activities, friendly competition, excitement, and BEAUTIFUL weather! :) From sack races to tug-of-war to obstacles courses to the broad jump, the kids had a blast participating in all of the events. Angelia's favorite event was the tug-of-war... and the water relay -- this was the activity I was coordinating that day. She did really well that day. Michael & the triplets came over to cheer Angelia and her classmates on that afternoon, as well, which was awesome and made her proud smile that much bigger that day! :)









Wow-- it seems like just yesterday I was in elementary school taking part in my Field Day events! It was always a fun day... how time flies!
