Will work for food (3/5/09)

The kids have been in the house more often than none and getting bored with the daily "stuff", so... Mommy had one of her "great ideas" to change up the daily routine --> we would make & bake cookies and pizza! Yes, you read it right-- I said WE (which entails me, two 4.5 yr. olds, and four 3 yr. olds) would be making and baking. They were all SO excited and couldn't wait to get their hands dirty! :)
We started off with making Peanut Butter cookies. I prepared the dough, gave each of them a ball of dough, the rolled it around, and then took turns pressing the cookies down. They all did pretty well with this process.

Now... it's time for PIZZA! Thank goodness for the Boboli ready-made pizza crusts! :) Even though all I had the kids do was add they cheese, they were satisfied with & proud of what they had done... just like BIG boys and girls. :)

They watched their "creations" bake.

Teh finished product... their creations. Not bad for being made by 6 "little ones", huh? They look YUMMY!

And finally... it was time to EAT! They really enjoyed this lunch-- YUM!

Mommy's little (baking) helper (10/14/08)

Angelia was Mommy's baking helper today... helping to make a birthday cake for Memom's birthday! :) She got to add the water & oil and helped to mix the batter... and-- as you can see, she was also on "clean-up duty" ... she got to lick the spoon and the bowl! :) The proof is in the messy face...

Angelia: The crafter, the baker, the candy maker (12/2007)

Angelia continued to be very BUSY preparing for Christmas... literally, having her "hands" in many projects. She made chocolate lollipops for her pre-school class, glitter star ornaments for family & friends, and helped bake cookies. Needless to say... we had glitter EVERYWHERE, cookie dough EVERYWHERE, and chocolate EVERYWHERE, but it was SO worth it... Angelia had a good time and was very proud of herself. :) She's a "crafty little sucker"! lol... :) Wow-- my little girl is getting too big, too fast!
