Happy Thanksgiving 2011!

We had a great Thanksgiving!

We started off the morning over at my Alma Mater -- Hamilton West -- to watch the annual Thanksgiving Day game! Wow-- this brought back a LOT of great memories for me.... this annual game, my cheerleading days, the school spirit, being that "young", etc -- it was great! The best, though, was being able to share this experience with my kids-- and my younger cousin (Nicole). One day -- sooner than I know -- I will be here watching & supporting my kids as they do their thing in high school... amazing!

Anyway-- we watched some of the game and then roamed the halls of the school a bit-- checking out how things still are and seeing how a few things have changed... and sharing memories of my days there with the kids. That was cool! I loved high school... they were great years for me.

We had dinner at our house this year and it went well. I love having the family together. My cousin, Nicole, joined us, which was an added bonus this year. The kids loved hanging out with her, especially. That's what it's all about... FAMILY!

Celebrating Turkey Day & a birthday! (11/23/2011)

Gobble, gobble...it's about that time!!

Fall recess is upon us and the kids are celebrating Thanksgiving today before they go! They all enjoyed little feasts prepared for them.

Check out all of these little Indians-- too cute! I still remember doing this as a kid. Actually-- we used to make vests out of paper shopping bags and drums from the Quaker Oats containers!! :)

Later that night, we celebrated Aunt Sharon's birthday! (lol... look at Juliana holding Jake's face-- like-- look here, Jake!!)

Gobble, gobble... it's Turkey Day! :)
The kids started their day off watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade then we went to Memom's to have dinner with the family. As always, lots of yummy food and fun times with the family. :)
As you can see, Grammy was loving life with 4 of her little "turkies" by her side. :)

School day feasting! (11/24/2010)

'Tis the season... time to FEAST! In school, both the triplets and Angelia had a Thanksgiving Day feast. Everyone hag a good time and lots of yummy food! Before they ate, the PreK class bowed their head to say a little prayer aout being thankful... too sweet!
Following the PreK feast, the class sang some Thanksgiving Day songs to the parents, which is always too cute to watch! I love my little turkies! :)

Happy Thanksgiving 2008! (11/27/08)

Here they are... my 4 little happy "turkies" on Thanksgiving Day! :)
We had a good Thanksgiving! The kids started off the day by watching the MACYS Day parade (on TV) with Daddy (they were thrilled to see Santa in the parade!), then we made a Turkey project together, and then we went to Memom's house for a yummy Thanksgiving dinner. The kids really chowed down on dinner... until they get distracted by the toys nearby and ran off to play with them, of course. It was a good day!
I have a lot to be thankful for... especially & most of all for my 4 little angels-- I am a VERY lucky Mommy! :) I love you Angelia, Anthony, Juliana, & Micaela... with all my heart-- always & forever! xo xo xo xo

It's TURKEY time! (Thanksgiving 2007)

**HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!**
This year, we stayed home and enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at our house. "Memom" (my mom), Aunt Dana (my sister), Savanna, & Courtney (my nieces) joined us for dinner. It wasn't a "quiet or relaxing" Thanksgiving to say the least -- how can it be with 6 little ones 3 and under in the mix?? -- but it was really nice... I love having everyone together and the kids love being and playing together. We started off dinner with intentions of Savanna or Angelia saying a prayer that they supposedly learned in Sunday School or PReschool, but that didn't go as planned, so Michael finished that for the girls. Angelia then shared what she is thankful for.... "my fam-i-wee, my baby (doll)..." -- it was cute!

For dinner, the kids were each given a well-prepared plate with a "little bit of everything" on it -- from turkey to turnips to sweet potatoes-- you name it. :) Micaela and Anthony really "tore up" their dinner, whereas the other 4 picked at this and that, but ate well and enjoyed it. As expected, dessert was more of a hit... gotta love the sweets! That love starts at a VERY young age I've noticed!

Another Thanksgiving and another year for us to be VERY thankful for all we have been given. :) We have definitely been blessed and are very fortunate. Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! :)

A Thanksgiving Day tradition (11/22/07)

Every year, we try to catch some of the MACYs Thanksgivng Day parade. Well, this morning after breakfast, we caught the last 45 min. of it. The kids huddled in front of the TV with their Daddy. Angelia was really into it this year-- excited to see all of the character balloons and of course, Santa Claus, the girls watched quietly & sucked their thumbs, and Anthony was up at the TV staring in "awe". It was cute to see. :)
