All dogs go to Heaven (4/22/2011)

Today, was a sad day, too... Samantha (a.k.a. "Sammy" - Sharon's dog) went to "Doggy Heaven". This was a tough loss... she was such a great dog and companion.

The kids, especially, loved Sammy.... taking her for walks, playing with her in the yard, laying with her for "movie night", playing ball with her (she loved balls, especially tennis balls). Sharon told the kids she had passed, they asked a few questions, and seem content with the fact she went to "Doggy Heaven" through the break in the clouds where the sun shines through.


Sammy will definitely be missed. I am so lucky that my kids got to spend a few years with such a great dog!
Thank you for sharing Sammy with us, Aunt Sharon! Love you both!

Rollin', rollin', rollin'! (4/2/2011)

I came home from work today to find 3 new bikes put together and all 4 kids on wheels... Aunt Sharon must have been here (and yes-- she was)! :) The kids were giving their new bikes & new roller blades a whirl... having a blast, of course!!

After dinner, we decided to keep it moving and ventured to the roller rink. We took Savanna along with us this time and she LOVED it- and did well, too! With this being so new to them, all of the kids are really doing well "on wheels"... so proud of them!

Bath time for Sammy! (6/19/2010)

SPLISH, SPLASH... Sammy gets a bath in our driveway by Angelia & the triplets! :) The kids had so much fun!

Sammy doesn't look like she had as much fun, but this bath was definitely more fun & exciting than a bath at PetSmart! :)

Hot day down on the Farm! (5/26/2010)

Aunt Brandi chaperoned Savanna's field trip to Howell Farm... on the HOTTEST day in May (91+ degrees that day!)! Despite the heat, it was a fun trip. The kids got to check out & learn about all of the animals and about random jobs on the farm. It was cool for me to see how big the animals had gotten since I had been there last in early Spring for New Faces Day!



Nothing like wallowing & coolin' off in a nice mud puddle on a hot day! Ahhh! :)

Savanna Banana... I hope you had a good time! Aunt Brandi is glad I got to go with you on your trip! Love you!

It's Sammy's turn (4/28/2010)

It was Sammy's turn to decide where'd we be hanging out tonight and she chose-- the park to get tennis balls! Sammy loves balls, so Sharon takes her almost daily to get some tennis balls at the park. This time, Sammy brought the kids along to take part in her fun... they had fun running around with her, finding balls, and playing.


While at the park, Juliana couldn't miss checking out the Dog Park-- and snapping a pic of it, too! :) She loved seeing and watching all of the dogs. She even got to meet a few of them... Baxter & Brando. She's my animal lover for sure! :)

It's Sammy's birthday, too! (8/9/09)

August 9th must be a lucky day fore it Grammy's birthday and Sammy's (the dog) birthday! :) Following Grammy's party we came home and had a little birthday party for Sammy. We planned this all out... the kids gave her presents (a new water bowl, treats, tennis balls, etc), made her a card (they each colored a paw print), we sang to her, and had cake with her! Sammy had her own little ice cream cake, which she loved!
It's always a party of some kind for someone here at the Zerilli household! :)

Can Sammy come over? (3/6/09)

Whenever "Aunt Sharon" comes over or calls on the phone, you can be SURE that Juliana will ask her-- "Can Sammy (the dog) come over?" Well, today the kids got lucky and Sammy not only came over, she also went on a walk with them. The kiddies love their Sammy! :)

Oh Sammy... (12/12/08)

Samantha (a.k.a. Sammy) -- Aunt Sharon's dog -- came over for a visit and Juliana was LOVING life, as you can see!
**She is surely smiling in this pic, huh?! Maybe Sammy has to come to the next photo shoot with us to make sure Jules smiles... lol :)

Meet our new friend... Samantha! (8/15/08)

Meet our new friend, Samantha (a.k.a. "Samy")! Just for the record, she is not our dog-- she is belongs to Aunt Sharon! :) Samantha came over to meet the kids for the 1st time tonight. The kids were all very excited at the sight of her, and as expected, Juliana was the most excited and interactive with her.... the other 3 kids watched Samy from a distance, but did pet her a few times when they got up the courage. The kids got to play with her in the yard -- Samantha's favorite thing is to play catch with her ball -- and she came on a walk with us.
When it was time for her to go home, the kids were sad, but I'm sure we will be spending a lot of time with Samantha. :) That night, all the kids kept saying was "Samy", "nice doggie"... it was cute!
