A little "frost" on the pumpkin (10/29/2011)

I know it's that time of year for "freaky" things to happen, but SNOW in October!? We are days away from Halloween and we had our 1st snow of the late-Fall/Winter season! odd...


Since we had so much fun doing it last year, we wanted to carve another pumpkin this year. I had told the kids earlier that day that we'd carve a pumpkin today. On my way home from work, I made a few stops and found NO PUMPKINS... not surprising since it's only days before Halloween! Panic set in, thinking how heart-broken my kids would be. Well, luck must've been on my side at that very moment because upon my last stop (at ACME), what sat alone in the big box out front of the store?? A big, beautiful pumpkin = MINE!!! The kids were SO excited to see me come through the door with pumpkin in hand = priceless! :)




Instead of "just a face" on this pumpkin this year, we did a PEACE*LOVE*HAPPINESS pumpkin... it really came out cute! The kids were so excited! I think this is definitely going to be an annual tradition for the kids and I. I can't wait 'til they can start carving their own... not for a few years, though! :)

Township's Fall Fest! (10/17/2010)

Wow-- all of this Fall Fun... and it's not even Halloween yet!
Today, we headed to the Fall Fun Day hosted by the Township. More pumpkins, another hayride, and face painting! :)

Hayrides & pumpkins & mazes, oh my! (10/21/09)

Today, we visted Dragonfly Farms, as we have in the past, and the kids had a great time yet again this year! They ran through the hay mazes, fed & pet the animals, and had a lot of fun on the hayride. I enjoyed watching the kids excitement while on the hayride as the random "scary things" came their way *and* loved watching Juliana & Micaela with the animals! They tried their best to feed the "Wama" (a.k.a. the Llama) hay saying "Hi Wama... eat Wama!" and then, of course, my little animal liver (Juliana) tried to hug a goat! lol...

Fall fun! (11/17/08)

After arriving home from Preschool "pick-up" today, the kids rushed over to the front yard and sat down... wanting to take a picture with the pumpkin. **If you take notice, there is a pumpkin in the picture-- it's behind them! lol... They started fighting over who would sit near the pumpkin and in the end, they sat so close, you can't even see the darn thing! lol... such is life!

Getting ready for Fall! (9/18/08)

It was Mommy's birthday and a beautiful day, so we decided to head up to Peddler's Village to walk around to check out the scarecrow display. The triplets really got in to checking out the scarecrows this year... it was cute! The kids posed for a picture at our usual place ... where we have taken a pic every year that we have gone! As we tried and tried to get the kids attention to take a group pic, even the people walking around joined our efforts... calling the kids to make them look or to make them smile. :) It was a nice day.
