Angelia's 7th Birthday! (8/31/2011)

Yay-- today was Angelia's 7th birthday and it was a fun-filled day! Angelia, the triplets, Courtney, Memom, and I spent this sunny (birth-) day at HURRICANE HARBOR and had a blast! Lots of sun, fun, splashes, and smiles. :)

After our day at HURRICANE HARBOR, we came home to celebrate with the family!!

Angelia... 7 years old already!?! I can't believe it, Baby Girl! You are becoming such a big girl and Mommy is SO proud of you. I hope you have had a great 7th birthday! Over these last few days, I have had a lot of fun celebrating with you... lots of sun, fun, and smiles. You know, 7 is a lucky number, so hoping "7 years old" brings you lots of great things everyday of this year & always... and everyday of my life- I am so lucky to be your Mommy. :) I love you SO very much, Baby Girl! Happy 7th Birthday!

Girls' night out to celebrate Angelia's birthday! (8/29/2011)

A girls' night out complete with pizza, polish, dessert, and Justin Bieber = a little girls' dream! To celebrate Angelia's 7th birthday, that's exactly what we did! :)

The girls were SO excited to get a manicure and pedicure... a "first" for a lot of them! They loved picking out their polish color... from yellow to blue to red to orange to glitter, by the time they were done picking their colors, I think we had every color in the rainbow and thensome picked out ready to paint their fingers and toes. :)

Thanks to Kim & her staff at Prime Nails in Bordentown for making Angelia's birthday awesome... they were all so great wih the girls! You made a lot of little girls (and me, too) very happy that night! :)

Angelia- Mommy hopes that you had a great time at your party tonight! I enjoyed seeing all of you pretty little girls so excited. I can't believe that my "baby girl" is growing up SO fast!! I love you so much, Baby Girl! Happy 7th Birthday!

Weathering Hurricane Irene (8/27/2011)

This usually doesn't happen where we are, but this time- we were expected to take a direct hit from a hurricane... Hurricane Irene. Being on the East Coast, but more inland, when a hurricane hits the Shore, we get the rains and winds from the outerbands of the storm, but this time, the storm was HUGE and expected to go over us. So-- we stocked up on bottled water, finally convinced Grammy to get here to stay with us to ride out the storm, and Sharon & Jake joined us, too... can you say Hurricane party!?! :) We simply hung out here all night, watched the storm tracker, played, kept busy, huddled into 2 rooms as we slept that night-- staying together as much as possible just in case, etc., and in the end, we didn't lose power, no damage for the exception of some messes outside, and we were all okay. :) The anticipation of something like this was scary, but glad we weathered the storm well and all together.

Rainy summer day... 4 kids not able to go out and play... why not go bowling?! That's where we ended up today... the Kids Bowl Free deal is awesome!!

Yes-- look closely... my score is the "M" at the bottom of the screen and even with "bumper bowling", my score was comparable to that my 5 and 7 year olds... lol-- I know, pretty pathetic, huh? :)

One of my long-time friends (since middle school!), Jess, is expecting her 1st child and I was thrilled to get to celebrate the coming of her son at her baby shower today! :)

Jess- I'm so happy that I got to be there today! I really loved hanging out, catching up, and sharing this special time in your life with you. You & Steve are going to be great parents! Congrats & best wishes to you, my friend. Can't wait to meet your new addition! :)

Micaela grows (8/2011)

My Micaela has a green thumb! :) She has become quite the little gardener this year... I think our neighbor, Doris, is rubbing off on her... and I'm going to say she has some of my Pop-pop in her, as well. :) She has been SO excited to plant and grow stuff... Aunt Sharon has been assisting her do so. From flowers to tomatoes to pumpkins, she's tried an array of things. She is so proud and loves seeing the things grow-- we just have to get her to water them more regularly! :)

I wonder what she'll be growing next year! :) I'm hoping it's Jersey tomatoes and eggplant-- YUM! :)

West Coast cousins! (8/13/2011)

Michael's cousin, Glen, his wife, Shilo, & their 2 little ones-- Micah & Annabel, made the trek back East (from California) to visit! It was great to see all of them fore it's been a few years since they've been to Jersey.

The kids had a blast playing together at Uncle Billy & Aunt Barbara's house. My kids loved playing with Annabel and literally ran laps around the back yard with Micah!

It was great to see them and spend time with them & the family while they were here. :) Hoping we can do it again sooner than later... excited that they'll have a newer "addition" with them the next time we see then, too! Another "Baby Thompson" is on the way... Congrats Thompson family!

Butterfly Festival 2011 (8/13/2011)

Coming highly recommended by Juliana & Aunt Sharon, ALL of us went to the Butterfly Festival at the Watershed this year! The girls were all ready for the festival with butterflies in their hair, wings on their back, and butterflies on their shirts-- they looked cute!

They got to see and learn alot about the environment, etc. We went into the Butterfly House, which is always awesome-- I love it in there; so pretty!

A few of the kids went into the meadow with big nets that caught a lot of cool stuff. The kids would swich the net through the tall grass & plants and it would collect a lot of little creatures that we cool to check out.

Before we left, the girls walked in the Butterfly parade. It was cute to see all of the little "butterflies" on parade! :)

VBS 2011 (8/2011)

Our summer break is coming to a close, but VBS was in full-swing this week! Once again this Summer, as in past Summers, the kids attended VBS at the local Church we attend. The kids had a GREAT week! They learned and did a lot and as always, they decorated their own t-shirts to wear with all of the other kids the last day-- they did a great job, ay?? :)
They all did really well, were full of eagerness & excitement daily, and I love how they look forward to this every year! It's a great opportunity for them. :)

We had a 'little one' sleepover today!! The kids & I got the chance to babysit "Baby Wes", Sharon's nephew, overnight... the kids were SOOO excited! Before he arrived, they counted the days and kept asking, "Mommy-- when is Baby Wes coming? How many more days?" Well- he arrived and they were all loving him & loving life. They played with him, took turns feeding him, etc. -- all good practice for the arrival of their soon-to-be-born cousin. :) They were great with him and he's such a good baby. This was a lot of excitement for him, I'm sure!

Oh-- how I miss babies!!! I was loving life, too! :)

Juliana & Micael went to their friend Ella's birthday party at PINKY TOES and had a blast! Especially for Micaela (a.k.a. Little Miss Sassy), this was right up her alley!

The girls got to dress up & wear boa's, got to sit & chat, made jewelry, has tea time & cake... it was really cute!

These little girls were really livin' it up that day! :)

My niece, Savanna, has been having a tough time health-wise over this last month. It has been recently found that she's having some kidney function issues, so she's been under-going treatment and will do so for a bit of time, in hopes to improve her condition. Time will tell how as for her progress, but everyone's hopes are high, prognosis is positive, and Miss Savanna is a strong little girl! She has been such a trooper through all she has been through lately.
Savanna Banana... Aunt Brandi love you! Stay strong and all will be okay. :)

Roadtrip to Chesapeake Beach, MD! (7/29-7/31/2011)

On a whim- I booked a hotel, packed up, loaded up, and we're off to Chesapeake Beach, MD... an uncharted location for us! :) With Sharon, my kids, & my niece in tow, we took a roadtrip to MD! On Tuesday night, I found this place, booked a hotel, and by Friday morning, we were on the road headed to Chesapeake Beach!

When we arrived, we found it to be a small, seaport town. While there for the weekend, we drove all over checking out the sites.

The town owns & operates a water park, so that's where we spent our Friday night. We all had a lot of fun slipping, sliding, & splashing.

The next morning, we headed to the beach! Very early into our jaunt to the beach, we realized, "we are not at the Jersey Shore anymore!" We went to a local beach there that was recommended by the locals. Upon pulling into a park-like setting, we should have known. Needless to say, after hiking about a mile (I'm not kidding!) down gravel roads in flip flops & bathing suits lugging all of our beach "stuff", we made it to the "beach"! It was pretty there and the kids enjoyed swimmng in & checking ut the Chesapeake Bay.

Lol... we tried to get a little "creative" with the sleeping arrangements... just how do you fit 2 adults & 5 kids into 2 queen-size beds!?! Needless to say, this arrangement was a good idea, but lasted no longer than 5 min.! :)

We had a great time on our little last-minute excursion to an uncharted (for us) getaway spot! Life's too short... live it up! :)

It's Saturday night and we're down the Shore -- surprise! :)

We had a lot of fun riding the rides tonight! I went on a few of the rides with the kids... lots of giggles when we went on the Tilt-a-Whirl... always one of my faves. I liked the hang-glider ride I went on with Micaela... it was pretty cool!

What's a night out without ending it with dessert?? Tonight, the kids enjoyed waffle sundaes!! Hot waffles, ice cream... YUM! :)

The kids have a new playmate and Miley has a new "boyfriend"... meet Jake! :)

Aunt Sharon just rescued Jake... a long-haired Jack Russell! He's such a sweet dog, but very timid due to lack of socialization by his prior owners. Right now, he's scared of people, doesn't know how to play ball, etc. I'm sure he'll adjust and become socialized VERY quickly thanks to my crew & his great Mommy!

Sharon-- you did a great thing for this little guy! He's lucky to have such a great "Mommy". :) Welcome to the crew, Jakie! :)

Safety Town (July 2011)

The Triplets went to SAFETY TOWN for 2 weeks this summer & really enjoyed it. At Safety Town, they learn about safety... bus safety, "stranger danger", chemicals, bike safety, car safety, etc. They have been taught about this stuff all along at home, but having a "police officer" really sealed the deal and made it "law" in their little heads. :)

On July 22, they had their Graduation ceremony, which was SO cute! They sang songs and got a certificate for completing the program.

The kids really liked & got attached to their assigned "counselors". Everyday, they couldn't wait to go back and see them!

Babies... Mommy is SO proud of you! You guys did a great job! :) Stay safe always... I love you!

While the Triplets are in Safety Town daily for 2 weeks, Angelia & I have been spending a lot of "Mommy & Me" time together... something that doesn't happen often enough. So today, we spent the morning at the nail salon. This was ANgelia's 1st time getting her nails "professionally done" and she was So excited!!

I'm thinking we may have a birthday party idea in mind!!?! :)

Micaela lost her 1st tooth! (7/11/2011)

Finally... it's happened!! Micaela's "special day" has arrived & she has lost her 1st tooth! She was SO excited!

She will be leaving her tooth "outside" of her room tonight (probably on the shelf OUTSIDE of her room), so the Tooth Fairy doesn't come into her room... for some reason, the thought of this scares her, but-- she likes the reward for losing tooth! :)

Hot fun in the Summertime! (July 2011)

This is where we spend many of our Summer days... at Memom's pool! The kids play & swim while I "lifeguard" from my pool chair... lol! :) I have so many memories of my sisters & I as kids doing the exact same thing with our Mom. Fun times, great memories for me and my kids!

They are all doing well this year with swimming! They now all go off of the diving board & sliding board and can swim independently... so proud of them!

My girls love Justin Bieber... it cracks me up to see them so "gaga" over someone at their young ages!

Tonight, Sharon & I surprised the kids and took them to Pt. Pleasant to see the "Justin Bieber movie" on the beach! They were SO excited! At one point, they were chanting "Bieber! Bieber!" and dancing all around. lol... too funny!

Those WILDWOOD Days!! (June 27-30, 2011)

Oh those Wildwood days... :) Lots of fun & many more memories in Wildwood on our few day getaway!

This is an awesome hotel... very family-oriented! It's on the beach, across from a playground, they have a pool & mini golf at the hotel, they have contests for the guests thru-out the day... it's really a great place to go with the family!

Like the last time, we got a bunch of pick-n-peel shrimp... yum! Memom & I ended up pickin' & peelin' the most... which the kids ate them... Expected! :)

Sticking with tradition, we went down to Sunset Beach to see the shipwreck off the coast. This time, though, was awesome because we got to be there for the nightly lowering of the flag ceremony. An older gentleman goes there every night and conducts a ceremony where they honor a deceased member of the Armed Forces... it was touching & awesome to witness this... I'm so glad the kids got to see it.

AT the hotel, ANthony took part i the "Mr. Muscle" contest and won 2nd place! Great job, Anthony! :) Thanks to Aunt Sharon for coaching him on... we cheered him on as he strutted by, lifted some weights, and showed his muscles off to the judges. He was proud of himself.

Sharon & I slept outside on the deck one night, awaiting the sunrise. The 1st morning we missed it due to being overcast, but the next morning-- we caught it! Wow-- how awesome & so pretty!!

On our way home from Wildwood, we made our usual pitstop at the Cape May Zoo to see our animal friends! :)

It was a great trip... lots of fun, good times, & great memories! Thank you, Memom! :)

Today, the kids were so excited to celebrate Father's Day! They had all of their "homemade" Father's Day gifts ready to shower their Daddy with them and couldn't wait to give them to him... it was so cute! I love when they get so excited over special days and gifts like this! :)

Today was Anthony's last game of the season. Wow-- I can't believe soccer season is over already! It was a good 1st season. It was so cool to see how much these little ones learned in just a few short months. I enjoyed watching them all play. :)

They had a great team! All of the boys were so nice & got along so well, and they were led by an awesome coach-- Coach Rick!

Anthony-- Mommy is SO proud of you... we are ALL so proud of you! I can't believe how much you have learned and accomplished your 1st season! I hope you are proud of yourself & your accomplishments. We have loved watching you play this season and can't wait to watch you as you continue to play. I love you, my little Soccer player!

Thanks to Aunt Sharon for being behind Anthony 100% this season... encouraging him to play, practicing with him, and making sure he (and she) was at every game. You're a great "coach" for Anthony and an awesome Aunt!

Angelia's last day of 1st grade! (6/16/2011)

Another year of Elementary School completed by Angelia... today was her last day of 1st grade!

This was the last time the little ones would walk to school to pick-up their big sister from school... the next time we go to pick-up, I'll be making this trip alone-- on my way to pick up all 4 of them (in the Fall)! Wow-- reality check!

Angelia had another awesome teacher this year, Miss Smith! She was great, Angelia loved her, she was great to my little ones-- allowing them to come to & join class parties, etc., and she taught Angelia so much! Thank you for everything, Miss Smith!

We made a scrapbook for Miss Smith, too! Again-- kids so proud and their teacher-- smiling with tears of joy! :)

The principal & a teacher in the school gave this Llama to Angelia in recognition of how much she has "grown" this year. (The Llama is from the book "Llama, Llama, I miss my Mama") We had a bit of a tough time with Angelia throughout the school year, crying when I would leave her in the morning, so these 2 ladies played a big role in comforting her and getting her over that little "phase". I thank them for all of their help! :)

Angelia-- Mommy is SO proud of you and can't believe you are already going into 2nd grade! You have grown so much yet again this year and I couldn't be prouder of all you have done. Mommy loves you so much! Yay for 1st grade and off to 2nd grade you go, my Baby Girl!

Poor George... (6/2011)

As I was cleaning up Juliana & Micaela's room today, I came across Curious George ... yes-- a pierced Curious George! Poor thig had pierced eye brows, lips, hands, ears... you name it! When I asked the girls what they did to poor George, they told me they pierced him. Micaela also added that some of the pins weren't closed because she was having a little trouble closing them! lol... nice!

Aunt Kelly-- I think you have rubbed off on my children a little bit!! lol...

Triplets' last day of PreK! (6/15/2011)

This is it... the last day of PreK for my babies... they are now Kindergarten-bound "officially"!

They have had a GREAT PreK year! They had 2 great teachers, met so many friends, did so many things, and have learned SO much! I'm so happy that they had this experience! :)

The other Room Mom and I put together a scrapbook for each of the teachers. They came out really cute! The kids were so proud that their own little creation appeared in each book and the teachers loved them! Seeing the kids excitement and the tears in the teachers' eyes & the smiles on their faces make things like this priceless!

Miss Sarah & Miss Theresa... thank you for everything this year! You are both awesome and my children have been so blessed to have you for their PreK experience! Many thanks...

Juliana lost her 1st tooth! (6/13/2011)

Juliana lost her 1st tooth today... with a little help from Mommy, who pulled it out! :) She is officially the 1st triplet to lose a tooth! I can't believe they are losing teeth already! I had to step back and have a reality check that HELLO-- they are 5.5 yrs. old now and these things will start happening! WOW!

Juliana was SO excited and Micaela was SO jealous. This was all Juliana talked about tonight & couldn't wait for the tooh fairy to come & she even started wiggling her other teeth and poor Micaela, cried about how it was unfair that she didn't lose a tooth yet! I told Micaela that when it's time, God will let her lose a tooth and she'sll have her own special day and the fairy will make a special trip for her, too. This didn't appease her too much, though. Oh the drama and worries of 5 year olds! :)

I think the Tooth Fairy better stock up on dollar bills because there a lot more teeth to be lost! :)

Fairy Festival (6/11/2011)

Today we went to check out a "Fairy Festival"! It was neat and the kids had a great time seeing the fairies, making crafts, and letting their imagainations run wild!

They ot "fairy gems" for going good things... we collected a lot of these!

My beautiful little fairies! :) The girls each made their own headpiece... so cute!

We got to write our names in "elvish", which was cool! We made a necklace for each kid with their name in "Elvish" on it.

We couldn't leave without checking out the fairies' hollow! :) We actually saw one fairies come out of here... pretty cool!

Here's to another random experience that was very cool to experience! You know us-- you never know where we'll end up! :)

Courtney graduates from Pre K! (6/8/2011)

The local radio station, WPST, was hosting "Mommy & Me Tuesdays at Jenkinson's in Pt. Pleasant, so Memom & I decided to take the Triplets & Courtney. They got to meet "Chris Rollins", a DJ from the radio station, who we hear all of the time on the radio-- they thought this was so cool to meet her! They played a few games, made a craft, played BINGO (Aunt Sharon would be proud!), etc. ... it was fun!

After the PST event, we walked the boards & the kids went on some rides!

Another beautiful day filled with fun in the sun! :)

Following the Triplets' PreK graduation, we decided to go & celebrate at Great Adventure! Despite the heat, it was a beautiful day & we all had a lot of fun that afternoon! :)

Here they are... the PreK Class of 2011 graduates! All ready for their big day!

The graduation ceremony was so cute! Besides the kids all being so excited, they filled the room with smiles with the sings they sang (and danced to!), the speaking parts they had, and of course-- the receiving of their diplomas! At one point during the ceremony, each child got the chance to come up and tell everyone what they'd like to be when they grow up! Here are my kids' responses... Anthony wants to be a "truck driver", Juliana wants to be a "teacher", and Micaela wants to be a "cheerleader". I am a very proud Mommy! :) Let's see what the future holds for them...

I loved the part where they gave each other hi-fives & hugs! They all have a lot to be happy for and proud of! :) They have all had a great PreK year!

The kids were blessed to have 2 awesome teachers -- Miss Sarah & Miss Theresa! They are both super nice and have been great with the kids! The kids love them! My kids have learned so much this PreK year and I am so very thankful for all they have done for my children.

Anthony, Juliana, & Micaela-- we are all so proud of you & love you SO much!! You guys have had an awesome PreK year. I can't believe how much you have grown and learned in this last year-- it's amazing! You guys are definitely ready to head off to Kindergarten! Congrats on your Graduation! I love you!

As I rounded the corner by my house coming home from work, I spotted all 4 of my kids buzzing around the dead-end all on 2-wheels! Bye-bye training wheels... hello 2 wheels! Thanks to Aunt Sharon's help, they can all ride with no training wheels and are SO excited. They are doing pretty well so far... so proud of them! Wow-- they are getting so big, so fast!

This was a GREAT & memorable soccer weekend for Anthony... he scored his 1st "game" goal... and a few more after that, too! On Saturday, he kicked in his 1st goal and on Sunday, he fired up the net again with a few more! We were all so proud of him and he was SO proud of himself.

There was something awesome about this Sunday game... the erntire team was there (which is rare) and they boys were kicking them in one after another! Yay for Sunday make-up games! :)

Thanks to Memom, the kids got to go to their 1st Trenton Thunder game tonight ... it was "NJM night"! :) The kids were so excited to finally get to go to "Boomer's house"! We had a good time... the kids weren't totally entertained, but did well sitting through all of the innings... and enjoyed the snacks!

Speaking of snacks, I happened to look over and see Juliana take a bite out of SHELLED peanut... lol! Shell and all, she chomped down and proceeded to chomp away! While laughing, I had to show her that she should take the shell off first and then eat the peanut inside! lol... Poor thing-- exposed to so many things in her life so far, but I guess a few little "things" were left out. :)

Today was the school's annual Field Day! We were so lucky to be blessed with such a beautiful, sunny day... a perfect day for Field Day!

Angelia did great at the events! So proud of her!

As expected, the Triplets were there to cheer their sister on and helped the staff clean-up the events! Next year, they will get to participate! :)

For all of their help & hard work, they deserved a cool treat, too! :)

It's a fun & festive Memorial Day! All decked out in our red, white, and blue, we started the day at the local Memorial Day parade!

Angelia & I walked in the parade with her Daisy troop and fellow Girl Scouts... for the 2nd year ina row! She was excited to walk in the parade, despite the heat!

The triplets & Aunt Sharon watched the parade pass by along the route. :)

After enjoying the warm mornig at the parade, we came home to cook-out and cool off! Aaaaaaahhhh! :)

We had a fun night tonight... we all went to the Delsea Drive-In tonight (yes, they are still around!). This was a 1st for the kids & I and we loved it! We saw a double feature... we saw Rango & Kungu Fu Panda 2. We set up our chairs, snuggled in our hoodies, enjoyed the beautiful night, and fun movies!

We can't wait to go again! :)

It's that time of year again-- time for Angelia's annual school parade! Festive-- as always -- the kids were dressed in ramdom themes! Angelia's class was assigned the Mexican/fiesta look this year... they looked so cute in their big sombreros and bright colors.

We all gathered on the corner to watch the parade pass us by. The triplets were very excited to know that they too will be able to be in the parade next year!

We hung out on the beach in Avon tonight... it was such a beautiful night and gorgeous views everywhere you looked!

we walked along the beach to collect shells...

and watched the bridge open & close to let the big boats through. At the bridge, we waved to the fisherman coming & going. (I love the pic of them waving to the fishing boat!)

Today, the kids had their PreK picnic at the Sawmill! The 3- and 4-year olds gathered to enjoy the day... despite the rain... and had fun with all of their friends!!

The PreK classes at the 3- and 4-year old level were filled with Multiples this school year... the Zerilli triplets covering the 4-year old class and the Wilke Quads covering the 3-year old class... and-- perfect together, as you can see! :) This pic is too stinkin' cute! Love it!

This is what I woke up to this morning. 4 very excited little ones... very excited for my "special day"!

As you can see, they put a LOT of thought into their gifts for me. :) From a hand-painted mug to plastic utensils to money ... they covered all of the bases! I especially loved the "I love my Credit Union" pin.. lol! :) They are so thoughtful! Following the kids showering me with all of their gifts, they helped me make breakfast, which they were so proud of.

The kids and I spent the early afternoon at a place we all love... the Beach! We headed to Belmar for a few hours where I got to kick back & relax while they played. It was such a beautiful day!

After the beach, we headed to Memom's where we had Mother's Day dinner. It was a great time!

3 Generations of "Moms"... I love it!!

I am such a lucky woman! I have been blessed with an amazing & beautiful Mother & Grandmother and I have been lucky enough to be a Mother myself, blessed with 4 little angels whom I love with all my heart! They are my everything! Babies-- thank you for making Mother's Day so special for me! I love all 4 of you SOOOOO much!

The triplets' PreK class hosted Mother's Day Tea today and it was so nice! The kids were SO excited about today.
When I came in, they were happily awaiting me with my seat at the head of the table in the middle of the 3 of them. Shortly after, they gave me thir Mother's Day projects/gifts that they made and OMG-- they were so cute & sweet... I love homemade gifts!! The each watched me closely with a huge smile on their face as I looked at each of their creations! So cute!!

Each of them made a "Mother's Day" packet and in it, they had to draw pictures and they disclosed certain info about their Mom. :)

Anthony & his Mother's Day project for me! In addition to this lovely picture of me, Anthony shared that "Mommy is-- 50 yrs old, my fave color is purple, my fave food is sweet potatoes (ALL news to me!) and his favorite thing to do with me is "play hide & go seek!" I <3 my little man! :)

Micaela & her Mother's Day project for me! In addition to yet another lovely picture of me, Micaela shared that "Mommy is-- 20 yrs old (that's what I'm talking about!), my fave color is pink, my fave food is carrots & they have to be baked (more news to me!) and her favorite thing to do with me is "bake cookies!" I ♥ my Gertie! :)

Juliana & her Mother's Day project for me! In addition to yet another lovely picture of me, Juliana shared that "Mommy is-- 19 yrs old (even better! you go girl!), my fave color is purple, my fave food is pasta (more news to me!) and her favorite thing to do with me is "eat!" I ♥ my Julie-bug! :)

After they gave us our gifts, we enjoyed treats & tea. The children also sang a few songs to the Moms all about Mother's Day! :) So sweet!

Babies... thank you for making Mommy feel extra-special special today! I had such a great time today and I LOVE all of the things you made for me. You guys did such a great job with everything and I will remember this day always. I am a very lucky Mommy! I love you guys SOOOOOO much, forever & ever!!

Easter dinner at our house this year. Dinner was good and they kids had lots of fun playing together. The Bunny left a bunch of eggs at our house for the kids, so instead of an egg hunt (it was rainy out), we had a little "egg-stravaganza"... eggs were flying & rolling, the kids were scattering to grab as many eggs as they could! :)

As you can see, they collected their eggs any possible way they could! If I would have only given them a bag or basket ahead of time... lol!

Proof the Bunny was here. Ok-- time to hide the baskets!! :)
The kids woke up very excited & very excited to find their Easter baskets to see what the Easter Bunny brought them.

Down the steps they came, picking up eggs and scanning & searching the rooms for their basket.

Every year, the last one to find his/her basket is always sad (until they find it, of course) and this year-- Anthony was the last to find his basket... hence the "sad face". :(

As you can see, the Bunny loved his carrot and even whipped up some "bisbuit bunny heads" like he (or she) did last year... wow-- you go Easter Bunny! :) The kids couldn't wait to have these with their Easter breakfast. I see a tradition starting...

We got our Six Flags Season passes today and ready to have a Great Adventure there this year! The kids are very excited... they've only been there 1x before, so lots for them to explore ahead!

Yes, my 2 little "dare devils" -- Juliana & Micaela -- went on here with AUnt Sharon! Those to are already giving me a run for my money!!

Today, was a sad day, too... Samantha (a.k.a. "Sammy" - Sharon's dog) went to "Doggy Heaven". This was a tough loss... she was such a great dog and companion.

The kids, especially, loved Sammy.... taking her for walks, playing with her in the yard, laying with her for "movie night", playing ball with her (she loved balls, especially tennis balls). Sharon told the kids she had passed, they asked a few questions, and seem content with the fact she went to "Doggy Heaven" through the break in the clouds where the sun shines through.

Sammy will definitely be missed. I am so lucky that my kids got to spend a few years with such a great dog!

An EGG-cellent day! (4/22/2011)

Today is not only GOOD Friday... it was an EGG-cellent day!
Angelia, the triplets, Savanna, Courtney, Memom, Sharon, & I headed over to Shady Brook Farm for a hayride, egg hunt, meet the Bunny-- and have fun! We had a beautiful day and the kids had a great time! They realloy had a nice set-up there for the kids.

That poor bunny... attacked by 6 little ones... what a "bunny hug"! :)

After we got back from the farm, it was time for our annual Easter egg dying! Every year, since the kids were really little, all of the cousins get together just before Easter to dye eggs. :) The kids were so excited to dye eggs and did a great job-- with minimal mess (yay!).

Breakfast with the Bunny! (4/17/2011)

This morning, our "party" of 8 adults and 13 kids had "Breakfast with the Easter Bunny" at the Hightstown Rescue Squad!

We all enjoyed the yummy breakfast... as we spread ourselves out over 3 tables! :)

After breakfast, each child got to make their own birdhouse! Each was very time-consuming & a bit difficult for the little ones (you had to screw in every nail, etc), but the adults helped and the kids were SO excited over their creations! There are going to be a LOT of happy birds in the neighborhood this year! :)

Anthony told me he's going to build me my own BIG house one day... we'll see! That would be nice, but... for him to grow up and be simply "handy" is all I can ask for! :)

I'm so happy my friends & family were all together this morning (Dana, my nieces, & friends, Ann, Nick, & the quads, Sharon, my Mom, and my kids)! With so many people all together, it was a little crazy, but fun... we all had a great time being together! We may not have it all together, but together we have it all! :)

Spring Break is next week and Easter is arund the corner, so we have to celebrate before we go on Break!

The Triplets had an Easter party with lots of yummy treats then headed outside for an Easter Egg Hunt and then sang Easter/Spring songs (who remembers the song "Little Bunny Foo Foo"? ... lol) It was really cute and the kids we SO excited and had a blast!

After I finished with the Triplets' party, I headed over to Angelia's school where she, too, had a party & an Easter Egg Hunt!

What a nice & fun way to finish up and head into Spring Break!

This week, the kids had a few out-of-the-ordinary FUN things to do at school!

The Triplets had "Pajama Day" where they got to wear their PJ's to school... they were SO excited about this! :)

Angelia performed in a little Talent Show at her school for the 1st time! My Angelia is very shy, especially when it comes to being in front of others, and I was happily surprised to hear she was going to dance/perform in the Talent Show-- and she actually did it! It was an activity done by the school's music teacher to get them up on stage in front of other, show off their talent, etc. Angelia & her friends did good... dancing away on Stage!

Angelia-- Mommy is so proud of you for performing in today's show! You did a great job up there! I love you!

Our little Soccer Player! (4/9 & 4/10/2011)

He's all siggned up & ready to GO! :) Anthony is SO excited... he's playing Soccer for the 1st time! This weekend, we had his 1st practice and his 1st game. Yes, that seems a litle "quick", but the kids at this age are just learning the basics soccer skills and will continue to learn & grow. At this age, the want to get them used to dribbling the ball and heading for the goal.

Their 1st practice & game went well... it's too cute to watch them all running around. Anthony seems to be adapting very well and has some great skills of his own already, which I am very happy & proud about. You can do it, Buddy... go Ant, go! :)

Off to Anthony's 1st game we go... all of us in tow! We ALL have to support our little "man"! :)

During his 1st game, he even took one for the team... he collided on the field with another player and he bruised his upper cheek bone / below his eye (ouch!). He shook it off pretty quickly and got back out there to finish the game. Good job, Anto-- shakle it off, Buddy! Of the joys...

Anthony-- we are all SO proud of you! Keep kickin' butt out there... keep your eye on the prize (and the "prize" away from your face!). Mommy loves you!

I came home from work today to find 3 new bikes put together and all 4 kids on wheels... Aunt Sharon must have been here (and yes-- she was)! :) The kids were giving their new bikes & new roller blades a whirl... having a blast, of course!!

After dinner, we decided to keep it moving and ventured to the roller rink. We took Savanna along with us this time and she LOVED it- and did well, too! With this being so new to them, all of the kids are really doing well "on wheels"... so proud of them!

NICU Reunion 2011 (3/26/2011)

Once again this year, we joined other CHS @ Mercer NICU "grads" at Sesame Place for their annual NICU Reunion! As in all of the past years, the kids had a great time!

A future Dr. Anthony J. Zerilli?!? You never know...

Every year, the nurses help the NICU "grads" put their handprints on a huge banner... each year more and more hands added and the bigger & bigger those once tiny hands get! :) As you can see, the Zerilli triplets left their mark once again this year, too! :)

I am so grateful to the NICU at CHS @ Mercer for giving my babies a GREAT start! Along with the March of Dimes, they were and continue to be WONDERFUL! :) Thank you all for hosting this great event for the kids once again! :)

Cousins... together again! (3/2011)

We were fortunate enough to have ToniAnn, Stephanie, CJ, Thomas, & Matthew come visit this month and we had a great time together, as always!

I love watching them all together... they all get along so well. Love how the little ones look up to the older ones and how the older ones look after the little ones.

My kids are very luck to grow up with so many awesome cousins... here and afar!

Toni & kids... we're so happy you guys got the chance to come for a visit. We had a lot of fun, loved spending time together, and miss you guys already. Hope to see you all again... sooner than later. We love you all!

Sharon & I got tickets to see BonJovi tonight, which just so happens to be his birthday. Since we got the tickets months ago, we told the kids we were going to BonJovi's birthday party! (Yes-- they were jealous and wanted to go.) They also think that he is our "boyfriend"... lol... if only! He would be the only guy Sharon & I would ever fight over! :) lol...

The kids didn't go, but Sharon & I did and had a great time! We had awesome seats & it was a great show-- as usual! :)

A beautiful Saturday morning down the Shore...

... but a "chilly day" ideal for the Polar Bear Plunge!!

I have always wanted to go check this event out and this year, the kids, Sharon, & I got to go... and were so happy we did! You know us-- we are always going here & there and trying new things. :) Anyway-- it was amazing how many people this event gathered... from participants who braved the icy waters of the Jersey Shore to viewers all bundled up and staying dry on the beach-- there were thousands of people out that day for the event!

AFter we left the event, we drove to the end of IBSP and walked along the beach... collecting shells and enjoying the gorgeous (but cold) afternoon!

Triplets' 5th birthday "kids party"! (2/23/2011)

Finally... the day the kids have been waiting for has finally arrived-- the day of their "kids party" at PUMP IT UP! They have been SO excited about their upcoming party and were full of excitememtn today as all of their friends, family, and school friends gathered to celebrate!

CAUTION: Don't be fooled... they are trying to contain their excitement as they listen to the "rules". This is the "calm before the storm". :)

Time to get this party started... time to bounce, bounce, bounce & go crazy!! :)

Despite the lateness of the hour tonight, how do you tell three 5 year olds that they can't open their birthday gifts!?!? So-- they attacked their present piles and were so happy & overwhelmed with all of their gifts! They got so many nice & awesome gifts... they are very lucky kids!

For the family & friends who helped us celebrate our 5th Birthday this year-- we thank you all for sharing our 5th birthday celebration with us! We had SO much fun and we hope you did too. Oh yes-- here she is... my "Little Miss Sassy" (a.k.a. Micaela). Micaela *loves* Lady Gaga's music... she yells "yay-- Wady Gaga!! Turn it up, Mom!" anytime a Lady Gaga song comes on... and then proceeds to dance around. A friend at work gave he this pair of "Lady Gaga" sunglasses for her and she was THRILLED! With her Mardi Gras "dice" beads around her neck, her "Lady Gaga" sunglasses on, and her attitude in full-effect, she thought she was "somethin'" that day, and the camera started snapping!

She is too funny with this stuff! I'm gonna have my hands full... :)
p.s. In case you didn't catch it earlier, yes-- Micaela calls her "Wady Gaga"... her "L's" come out as "W's"... lol! :)

I am now the proud mother of "5 year old Triplets!" Yes-- they're 5 years old... ALREADY!! I can't believe they are 5! How QUICKLY time has flown by! 5 years old... full of life... full of personality... and ready to go off to Kindergarten in the Fall! WOW!! Ok-- enough dwelling on the fact they are 5...

The triplets had a fun-filled 5th birthday! They started off their special day with a "birthday breakfast" at the diner. With candles in their french toast, we (and the surrounding diner staff & patrons) sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to them.

After breakfast, we all went bowling. This was the kids' 1st time bowling. They did well & had a lot of fun!

"Big sister" Angelia even took th day off to be there to spend the day with her little brother & sisters on their birthday. What a great Big Sis she is! :)

For their birthday, I promised to make them each their "own" cake... that's the least I could do... considering they have to "share" most things. As you can see, Anthony requested a "race cars" cake, Micaela requested a "princess cake", and Juliana requested a "peace sign cake"... and their wishes were Mommy's Command. :)

Babies... wow-- Mommy cannot believe you are 5 years old already!?! Where did my tiny little babies go!? Just 5 years ago today, the 3 of you came into our lives and forever changed it... all for the better! I remember every minute of that day... from finding out "today was the day" you were arriving, to seeing you for the 1st time when you came into the World, to the 1st time I got to see you up close, hold your hands, and kiss you. Mommy is SO blessed to have the 3 of you... and your big sister. I am so lucky to be blessed with such happy, healthy, and wonderful children! Mommy loves you guys SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much and I hope you had a wonderful & memorable 5th birthday!

Free tickets lead us to the Philly Auto Show tonight... and we had a good time!

It was awesome checking out all of the cars & trucks!

The kids had a good time (and lots of laughs) as they tried out their "driving skills" on a mini track where they raced RC cars! They did pretty well. Aunt Sharon rode/stood "shot gun" as each of them "drove"... a preview into the future... ugh-- how many more years 'til they drive!?! yikes!

The kids were loving life... out for a "joy ride"-- Micaela at the wheel (of course!) ... yet ANOTHER look into the future! Yes-- in about 12 years, this will be my reality!! Oh-- I hope these upcoming years don't fly by! To be honest, their age now can be "trying" at times, but the thoughts of "teen years" scares me!! ugh...

Thanks to an invite from my friend, Patty, we headed out to Jackson Roller Rink tonight and went roller skating! It's been YEARS since I was on skates and this was a "first" for the kids.

The kids got their skates on and hit the floor... they did pretty well on their 1st time out. Thanks to Patty, Tuesday, Carla, & Hailey for skating along with them ... while their "Mother" (that's me!) stood in skates for over 2 hrs. on the carpeted area... too chicken to skate in fear I'd fall! I did "try" 2x for a short little distance and chickened-out quickly. :( Thank godness for my almost-fearless kids and my friends who are their to help out! :)

The kids loved skating and look forward to going back. I'm sure we'll be at it again soon! :)

Daisy re-dedication ceremony (1/19/2011)

Tonight, Angelia & Savanna had their re-dedication ceremony for Daisy Scouts! They did a great job during the ceremoy and were awarded so many additional patches for the many things they have done and learned thus far in Daisy Scouts... great job girls!

To my favorite Daisys in the bunch... Mommy/Aunt Brandi is so proud of you both! I am so glad you have been able to experience Daisy Scouts and experienced it together. Congrats on being re-dedicated! Have lots of fun in Daisys! I love you!

Celebrating the end of 2010 & ringing in 2011

Wow-- can't believe 2010 has come to an end and 2011 has begun!!! How the years fly by!
This New Years' Eve, the kids, Sharon, & I headed to Philly early and caught the fireworks over the river at Penns Landing, which was awesome to see, and checked out the River Rink while we were there!

After Penns Landing, we headed home and had a little party of our own... Shirley Temples for the kids, "cocktails" for the adults, and lots of yummy food! Just before midnight, Memom & Sal arrived to help us ring in the New Year! We all watched "the Ball" drop in Times Square on TV then rushed outside to make some noise!!! The kids had so much fun tonight... we all had a good time!

Even Miley was "festive" for th New Years' Eve festivities! lol...

Here's to 2010! :) Hoping 2011 brings lots of love, luck, happiness, & good health to ALL of us! **Happy New Year!**

Santa was here...

...and here they come!!!

Yes, another fun-filled, chaos-filled, wrapping paper-filled Christmas morning at the Zerilli household! :) The kids were so happy, excited, and overwhelmed by everything! From scooters to dress-up clothes to cars & trucks to Snuggies to to Pillow Pets to craft stuff... they got it ALL and thensome! They wanted to play with anything and everything... NOW!

Santa even brought Miley presents... she's been a good girl this year, too! And-- it's a special Christmas for her-- her 1str Christmas! She got new toys, treats, and a new coat-- snazzy pink coat, ay?

While Mommy whipped up her annual Christmas morning breakfast, Aunt Sharon & Daddy took care of getting all of the toys of of the boxes and in working order.

After the kids played and we relaxed & got in our Christmas Day best, off to Memom's for Christmas dinner with the family! Once at Memom's, we had a yummy dinner, opened gifts, and hung out with the family... it was a lot of fun and a very nice time!

Christmas Eve 2010

Keeping up with our annual Christmas Eve tradition (of the last few years on xmas eve)... Memom & Aunt Sharon joined us for dinner (we enjoyed the traditional xmas eve lasagna), took pics in our xmas eve best & again at bedtime in our xmas jammies, we went to mass, came home to see Santa on the fire truck coming around the neighborhood, left a treat for Santa, and off to dreamland the little ones went... while the Mom & Dad did their "xmas eve duties".

I couldn't find the "Milk for Santa" cup this year, so the kids chose this Pilsner cup for his milk. After we got it all set-up, I had to laugh... the plate said "Dear Santa, I have been good" and the cup the kids chose (from a Coyote Ugly bar) says "Misbehavior Encouraged". A little contradictory, ay? lol...

Last, but certainly not least -- meet JOEY. Joey (a.k.a. "The Elf on the Shelf") came to us this year for the 1st time. Joey was sent to us anonymously and his job was to keep an eye on the children daily & report back to Santa! :) Daily, the kids would come downstairs and look for Joey -- he moved to a different location daily. They had a fun time looking for him, but "behaving" & being on their best behavior while he was around, well-- that's another story! So anyway-- Joey took his last "spin" on the tree for this year ... this was his final hang-out for this Christmas season. Back to the North Pole he goes tonight with Santa. Until then-- bye Joey! You just never know who's going to drop by the Zerilli household! From random friends & family to BARNEY to the EASTER BUNNY... you just never know! Well tonight, we had yet another surprise visitor... SANTA CLAUS! Yes, the man in the red suit himself. :) We thought we heard something and when we looked out front, there he was on the front lawn! All 6 kids were here and SOOO excited! Santa came in, talked with the kids, gave them treats, and told the kids about Grammy & Memom when they were little girls (he's got a good memory! -- Grammy was hysterical watching all of this go on).

How lucky are we? What an awesome visitor, huh?? Like I tell the kids, you never kow where Santa is going to pop up! Be afraid... be very afraid (and behaved!)! **Thank you for coming, Santa!**

Every year, we go to Memom's work for their holiday party... and this year was no different! The kids got to see Santa, got another gift from Santa, and got to meet all of Memom's friends at work! :) It was a really nice day!

As expected, the kids were "partying it up" at school for the holidays!
At PreK, the triplets had their holiday party with lots of treats and then gathered for a surprise visitor--> SANTA!! Santa met with each child, each child got a special gift, and then the kids gave back to Santa by performing for him and all of the parents that came out. It was really cute & the kids did a GREAT job!

The next day, Angelia's class celebrated and again-- a great time had by all. The kids watched the Polar Express that morning, so they got to wear their robes and slippers for the occassion. My "little elves" came for the party, too... they were lovong life hanging out with the "big kids" at their party!

It was a really fun-filled 2 days with all of the school parties! :)

Last ice skating lesson (12/19/2010)

Over the last month, the kids have ben going to their ice skating lesson every Sunday morning and today was their last lesson. They have really learned a lot and have gotten so comfortable and good so quickly! Now, after 5 weeks, they all leave the wall and skate around on their own. Through this experience, Anthony has surprised me to the most-- he took off and that was it... I think I may have a hockey player on my hands! Angelia advanced the most... going from being SO afraid to getting the extra little bit of attention and doing wonderfully and being more comfortable. The girls, as expected, did great... did it with ease & determination.
As promised, at the end of their last lesson, Aunt Sharon surprised them with a trophy!!! They were SOOOOO anxious to get their trophy and after all of their hard work and determination, they got one! They were so proud of themselves and were loving their trophies.

Aunt Sharon... thank you for the lessons, the trophies, everything! We are so happy we took them and we can ice skate now! Come on, Aunt Sharon-- let's go... NOW! lol... We love you!
Babies-- Mommy is SO very proud of you! You all did such a great job and have learned so much! Now you guys have to get me out there and teach me how to skate... and not be so afraid!! Mommy loves you!

Tonight at Angelia's school, we had "Storytime with Santa". The kids were so excited... they loved seeing & talking to Santa, they did crafts, they had snacks, teachers read stories... it was a fun Friday night!

I love this pic of Juliana seeing Santa! As soon as she laid eyes on him, she was so happy! She rushed right up to him -- cutting in front of everyone else -- to make sure she said hi and saw him! :)

The Spirit of Christmas was in the air tonight for us... the gift of giving and the true meaning of Christmas.
We joined Angelia's Youth group and other members from the parish we attend and went caroling at a local Independent & Assisted Living Community Home. This was the 1st time the kids went caroling. They were very shy & nervous singing in front of the crowd and you could barely hear their voices, but-- they did it and the residents enjoyed it! After we were done caroling, we went around to say hello to the residents and share cookies with them. It was a great expereince for the kids and the residents really enjoyed the presentation & the company.

After we went caroling, we went a local parish that was hosting CHRISTMAS! Live and that was awesome to experience. It was a little "much" for the kids to understand at their young age, but they got the basics and I'm glad they got to experience it. The parish did a great job with this presentation!

Today, my youngest niece, Courtney, turned 5 years old!! The kids had a ball celebrating her birthday... they started off with a sleepover at Memom's and then we went to Kid Junction for the afternoon! They had a ton of fun playing at all of the differnet "locations" there... they worked out in the gym, shopped at the store, made food & ate at the restaurant (they even got Memom to play "Waitress"!), played dress up, pretended to be Vets, etc. They had a good time!

Courtney-- wow... 5 years old already!? We hope you had a lot of fun today on your 5th birthday... we enjoyed spending it with you! Happy Birthday, Squirt! We all love you!

"Our" 1st tree! (11/29/2010)

As many of you know, I love putting up our Christmas tree, decorating it, having it spin, watching it, hate when it's touched, etc. (I know... I need to "chill"!). Well, instead of having the kids constantly playing with the "big tree", Aunt Sharon had the idea of letting the kids have their own tree where they could decorate it, keep it in their playroom, enjoy it, etc. So-- they got one, picked out some decorations, and they decorated it!

They were SO proud of their tree and exciting to have it in their playroom. Anthony got to put the star on top of it fore he wouldn't "rest" until he did... he kept asking, "Can I put the star on top yet? Can I Mommy? Can I put the star on yet?" :) They all did a great job! Yet another good idea, Aunt Sharon!
Here's to the Holidays 2010... here we go! :)

Gobble, gobble... it's Turkey Day! :)
The kids started their day off watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade then we went to Memom's to have dinner with the family. As always, lots of yummy food and fun times with the family. :)
As you can see, Grammy was loving life with 4 of her little "turkies" by her side. :)

'Tis the season... time to FEAST! In school, both the triplets and Angelia had a Thanksgiving Day feast. Everyone hag a good time and lots of yummy food! Before they ate, the PreK class bowed their head to say a little prayer aout being thankful... too sweet!
Following the PreK feast, the class sang some Thanksgiving Day songs to the parents, which is always too cute to watch! I love my little turkies! :)

The holidays at Peddler's Village (11/20/2010)

We love going to Peddler's Village and this year, we FINALLY made it there for their Christmas display! We bundled up and walked around admiring all of the lights and decorations... it's awesome to see. We even got to check out all of the awesome Gingerbread houses & creations made by local people, schools, and organizations... wow! As always, we had a good time. If you've never been there, be sure to check it out sometime.

The time has come, Miss Angelia needs glasses to help her see in class & to read. She picked them out herself (with the approval of Savanna & I, too!) and they do really look cute on her. She's happy with them, she's content, and she can see better... that's all that matters!

Born to Ride (11/14/2010)

Aunt Sharon is always exposing the kids to something new and this time, she has introduced them to motor bikes! She got this bike and the kids are so excited to go for a ride on it.. especially Anthony, who thinks this is HIS motorcycle! Well today, they got their chance and got their 1st ride on the bike. The triplets liked it and Angelia was nervous (again-- she's so much like her Mother!), but everyone had a good time. Thank you, Aunt Sharon! :)

A "Mommy moment": With some encouragement, I got on the bike to take it for a spin... warning: I was totally unprepared in all aspects, but-- I gave it a try. I have NEVER driven a motor bike on my own before; only rode on the back of them. Well, I was warned the bike was powerful and to go easy and within seconds of pulling back on the handle to make it go, I found myself jumping the curb with the bike, then diving off of the bike onto the neighbor's grass, and the bike headed towards the neighbor's front door! Uummm yeah-- I think we are going to leave this "event" to Aunt Sharon... I stand by and take pics! :)

My "Beginner Skaters"! (11/14/2010)

My kids are always up to something...
They are now taking lessons to learn how to ice skate -- thanks Aunt Sharon! :)
Today was their 1st lesson! They were all very excited to go. This was their very 1st time on skates and were doing well walking around the rink in their skates and then.. they stepped onto the ice! As soon as Angelia stepped onto the ice, the nervousness set in (she's like her Mother, for sure!) and she was very uneasy about the whole thing, but she tried and I think she will do well once she gets used to it. As for the triplets, they were a bit more fearless... Anthony surprising me the most! They started with the basics today-- marching, getting up, etc.
After their lesson, they enjoyed their "promised" cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream whle they warmed up... yum!

They all did well for their 1st time and I couldn't be prouder of them for trying & for doing a great job! I can't wait to see what the next 4 lessons hold.... any figure skaters or ice hockey players in my future??
**With the kids now learning to skate, Sharon & I have to hit the ice and see what we are capable of, so we can take the kids skating... we are not thinking too much, though! Oh Boy! lol... :)
